1. The first thing you should do when you get that interview is GOOGLE! google the company, google some employees of the company, especially the person interviewing you. This will be helpful in creating a good conversation in which you both are engaged and interested in. Find out as much as you can about the company to avoid asking questions you shoud know the answer to. 

2. After you do your research, think about what you want to ask them. Have  a few good question to ask them.

3. Know exactly when and where the interview is. Know how long it takes you to get there, factor in traffic and other unexpected delays. DONT BE LATE. Be there at least 15 minutes prior to the interview. 

4. Dress professionally! Make sure you shower, your suit is clean, and if you smoke, dont smell like smoke. You want to look professional; no scuffed up shoes, runs in your stockings, hair or lint on your suit, and clean, brushed hair. You want to make a good first impression, wardrobe malfunctions is a way to stand out in a bad way.

5. When anyone walks in a room, stand up. This is a modern rule, not catering to genders.

6. Shake the hand with a strong hand grip, but only with one hand. 

7. Wear you name tag on the right, when you go to shake hands, their eyes will naturally meet your name tag. 

8. Do not discuss salaries in an interview..DONT GIVE THEM A NUMBER, it might come back to haunt you.

9. Be confident, if you do not believe in yourself, they won’t either. 

10. Follow up with an e-mail and hand-written letter. This leaves a good last impression
